The Refuge is a place for everyone, no matter where you find yourself in life; we welcome you with open arms. We are a training center for the hurting, equipping you with God's word to be a warrior of God.
In 2015 God gave the vision to Margaret Edomson to begin The Refuge, 'A Gathering Place.' Since then, we have been a center of healing and equipping for countless people. It started in a shopping center and grew to a state of the art 'living room' experience, including a coffee bar and fellowship area. Our heart is to be a home for those in need.
WHAT TO EXPECT
What will happen when I visit for the first time?
Whether you’ve attended church your entire life or never been at all, we know it’s not easy visiting a church for the first time. You’re not quite sure what to expect and you probably have a lot of questions.
We THE REFUGE want to give you the best experience possible. We want you to feel at home here. There is a place for everyone in your family and we welcome you no matter where you find yourself in life. Our doors are always open to people of all groups and backgrounds.
What do I wear to attend your services?
Come in what is comfortable for you, because at The Refuge it’s not about what you look like or what you wear.
What is a Weekend Service like?
When you enter The Refuge you’ll be greeted by our coffee and fellowship area. There will be some of our team available to answer your questions. Once service begins, our Worship team will play some great tunes and you’re welcome to sing along or just take it in. Following the music there will be some teaching from the Bible that we trust will be relevant to your life and interesting regardless of where you are in your faith journey. Give us a try.
